Makaʻala Perry, born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, is passionate about preserving the arts and perpetuating Hawaiian culture. She is a flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines and the owner of a dessert shop, Sunbeams Creamery, located in Wahiawa. She is also a singer, musician, and hula dancer for hālau hula, Ke Kai O Kahiki. She competed in the 2021 Miss Aloha Hula competition and received third place as well as the ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi Award. She performs regularly doing seasonal shows at the Four Seasons Ko Olina and Halekulani’s House Without A Key. She has traveled to places such as Japan, Canada, and Taiwan sharing her love of music and hula. She hopes to inspire others to follow their passions in life and make a positive impact on our communities.
